Architectural Visualization & Landscape Design

This project was undertaken to explore landscape modelling and visualization along with architectural exterior and interior design. The landscape is Inspired by several visits to the Southwest and the desert regions of California, Utah, Arizona and Nevada. As for the architecture, it borrows heavily in style from Luis Barragán’s, Casa Barragán (which we visited four years ago, but left a lasting impression) and the interior and materials from Georgia O’Keefe’s Ghost Ranch home and studio.

Barragan’s use of materials, colour and light have always been inspiring and O’Keefe’s Ghost Ranch home, with its sweeping desert views, stacks of rocks and shifts of light is as close to perfection as I’ve ever seen.
