STONE ISLAND - PRODUCT RENDERS
3D Garment Modelling & Rendering
This project was undertaken to get up to speed with CLO3D’s Marvelous Designer Software. This software is industry standard for cloth simulations. I set myself the task of developing a small collection of items which would cover outerwear, accessories and knitwear.
The workflow is building in Marvelous Designer, which enabled me to get back to using my Tailoring Degree for pattern cutting help. The garment is then rendered in Cinema 4D and Redshift, utilizing Substance Source fabric textures, usually at 4k or 8k for close ups. Any final retouching is done in Photoshop. Has been fun finding time between photography trips to learn and is a great building block to add to my skill set.
